Auditor General Released Three Audit Reports on the City of Ottawa, Ottawa Police Service and Ottawa Police Services Board’s responses to the Convoy Protest

Ottawa – Today, Auditor General Nathalie Gougeon released three reports on the City of Ottawa, Ottawa Police Service (OPS) and Ottawa Police Services Board’s (OPSB) responses to the convoy protest. 

The Auditor General will be presenting the Audit of the Ottawa Police Service’s Response to the Convoy Protest – The Role of the OPSB, and the Audit of the Ottawa Police Service’s Response to the Convoy Protest – Collaboration with the City, at an upcoming special OPSB meeting this Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 2:00p.m.   

In addition, the Auditor General will be presenting to the Audit Committee the Audit of the City of Ottawa’s Response to the Convoy Protest on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 9:30a.m. 

The Auditor General will not comment on the results of her audits until after presenting the reports to the respective oversight bodies.
